What Is a Bond Blueprint?
Your Bond Blueprint is the pattern behind how you connect, pull away, overthink, or repair in relationships - mapped by MindFathom's attachment style test into five named patterns instead of one flat label.
An explainer, not a diagnosis.
Why five patterns instead of one label
Most attachment style tests hand you a single word - secure, anxious, avoidant, disorganized - and stop there. In practice, almost nobody is purely one thing. The Bond Blueprint Test scores five separate dimensions and shows you your strongest and second-strongest signal, because the combination usually explains more about how you actually show up than any single label does.
The 5 Bond Blueprint patterns
Able to trust consistent care without losing your own center. You can let someone matter without feeling like your independence is at risk, and you don't need constant proof that things are okay.
Watch for: Mistaking self-protection for neutrality when you're actually scanning for risk without noticing.
Quickly alerted by distance, delay, or emotional ambiguity. A slower-than-usual reply or a shift in tone can pull your attention fast, and reassurance genuinely helps - the pattern is in how much of it you need, and how often.
Watch for: Turning a small silence into a story about being unwanted, before you've actually checked.
Inclined to create space when emotional demand feels like too much. Independence is real for you, and closeness has to be earned in - but the line between 'genuinely need space' and 'protecting myself by pulling back' can blur.
Watch for: Calling it independence when it's actually an exit strategy from something that felt too intense.
Pulled toward closeness and protection from it at the same time. You reach out, then pull back the moment someone responds - not from confusion, but because both the wanting and the fear are equally real.
Watch for: Testing people instead of directly naming what would actually feel safer.
Able to return after conflict and rebuild deliberately, rather than letting tension sit unresolved. This is the repair muscle - the part of any pattern that determines whether rupture becomes distance or becomes a stronger connection.
Watch for: Wanting peace without doing the actual repair work that creates it.
How your result is calculated
The test asks 25 questions, five per pattern. Your two highest-scoring patterns become your primary and secondary Bond Blueprint - for example, "The Guarded Heart / The Bridge Builder" describes someone who tends to create space under pressure but is also genuinely good at repairing after conflict. The free result shows your top pattern; the full report breaks down all five scores plus where the pattern may help you, where it may cost you, and reflection prompts for real relationships.
